Endeavor Miami has introduced its Spring 2024 ScaleUp Cohort, targeted at propelling ten innovative businesses into rapid growth and expansion. These firms, chosen from a variety of sectors such as tech, healthcare, and manufacturing, will enjoy in-depth mentorship and comprehensive funding access over a four-month project.
Over the project span, each startup will undertake intensive business growth strategies designed to increase their operational efficiency, refine their business model, and open up networking events and monetization opportunities. They will also gain entry into Endeavor’s network of accomplished business leaders, investors, and other impactful figures across different fields.
These businesses, after the project, are expected to have a substantial impact in their respective sectors, and their potential success will contribute significantly to entrepreneurship growth, job creation, and economic development. The selected companies include a Fort Lauderdale-based firm specializing in personalized clothing using 3D body-shape technology, a brand focusing on innovative non-toxic products for women, and a renewable energy company determined to reduce global carbon emissions, among others.
The cohort is emblematic of Endeavor Miami’s dedicated efforts to stimulate entrepreneurship and support business innovation in Miami. The participating businesses are varied, with 53% represented by underrepresented ethnic communities and 20% led by women. These startups have already secured over $35 million in funding and are primed for expansion in the Americas and Europe.
Industry sectors that the cohort will add to South Florida’s innovation sphere include Fintech, Enterprise Software, Mobility & Supply Chain, and Healthcare.
